DRAGON ADVENTURE UPDATE

What is a 'Dragon Rider'?
(In movie-intro narrator voice) -> This is the story of how I became, (pause) sorry rephrasing, how I'm becoming a Dragon Rider. *Tadum* (End of narrator intro voice)
You might be thinking, 'Hey, there are not dragons in business, there are only unicorns". Well, I'll have to ride a unicorn too, it's just that I have bigger plans for the business, and that's what I call: a dragon. And a newsletter without some storytelling is just plain boring, and that's a fact, so let's make it more spicy by adding humor and satire.
Also, I'm a huge fan of The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones... and if you noticed, there are no Unicorns in those movies and shows. Only dragons.
My internal voice has a question:
Left side of the brain (I'll make this shorter and call the left side of the brain 'Jon' from now on, it's easier, like Jon Snow from GOT): So what's a dragon?
Dragon rider: It's, (wait for it), the vision.
Jon: Nice, so we have a vision now (mocking: it's taken us some time to get to this point, you know what I'm saying).
Dragon rider: Yep, about 20 years to be exact.
Jon: So what's the vision.
Dragon rider: It's very clear now:
We take a business idea
We grow it to unicorn status, so billion dollar valuation
Then we create a venture capital firm to invest in other projects
Then we publish a book about all of it
Then we create our own show on Netflix, about startups, adventure, unicorns and dragons
Jon: OK. Sounds good, but that's huge! Isn't a bit scary?
Dragon rider: Fuck yeah it's scary! But the question is, why not? Everyone says that you have to dream big. What's this for big now? Eh, eh? Plus the adventure and the thrill will be fun! And easier than taking 'the ring that rules them all' to a volcano and fighting orcs along the way.
Jon: Do we need to make this public affairs now? Meaning, what happens if we don't get there? People will be reading about this all over the world!
Dragon rider: Ha ha, that's what we want, yes, all over the world. We need our fellowship for this adventure Jon! We need people who can help us, this is not one man journey. And by the way, the journey may be long or short, but we will get there.
Jon: So today is day 1?
Dragon rider: Yes, today we open doors to the public, and from now on we'll give them snippets of where we are, how it goes, the friends we find, the foes we battle, our previous failures and also our successes. And we'll share hints and tips and tools, and info along the way. Buckle up!
So follow me on my adventure as I build a dragon!
